Improved log in flow and forgotten password functionality
Several improvements were made to the Current Map log in process:
More descriptive error messages are now displayed in red italic text above the email box.
Attempting to create a new account with a pre-existing email will redirect you to the Sign In screen, and will remember the email address and password you tried to use.
There is a new “forgot password” option below the Sign In button. Clicking this will send a reset password link to the email currently entered in the email box.
We’ve all experienced the frustration of poorly designed apps that make it a hassle to reset your password, for example making you re-enter your email address on the forgot password page. My goal for this log-in system was to create the smoothest experience possible.
